On Monday 26th January Harrison & Hetherington held its weekly sale of store lambs in Borderway Market. Another strong show of lambs were forward and despite the recent Prime trade becoming harder work a total sale average of £109 was achieved. Topping the sale went to a single Texel lamb from Shaun Daniel, Allergarth at £134 The same home also sold 9 to £130. Suffolk lambs topped at £128 from Messrs Bell, Cockermouth and Beltex lambs topped at £111.50 from John McCrone, Carlisle, the same home also sold Cheviots to £92.
