Border Beauties Sale

The annual Border Beauties sale of Border Leicester females at Carlisle topped at 2,500gns twice. Firstly, for the pre-sale show champion, a shearling gimmer by Intock Eye Catcher scanned with triplets to Silvermuir Upperclass from Robbie Aiken's Springview flock, Wennington. It had been a winner as a ewe lamb at the Great Yorkshire, Royal Highland and Royal Welsh shows and sold to Messrs Lathangie and Spon, Glenrothes

The other at this money was a Elsricklemains Eyecatcher daughter, carrying twins to Davis Dyke Dare Devil, from D & I Walker's Alticane flock, Girvan, which sold to Messrs Kinloch, Biggar.

At 1,800gns, also from Springview was another Intock Eyecatcher daughter, scanned with twins to Silvermuit Upperclass, which was knocked down to Messrs Mill, Cardenden, Fife.

Also making 1,800gns was anther from Messrs Walker, this time by Westforth Braveheart and in-lamb with twins to Davis Dyke Dare Devil which sold to Messrs Lawrie, Kinross.
