On Wednesday 11th February 2026 Harrison & Hetherngton Ltd held their weekly sale of 378 store cattle, with numbers continuing to be tight the demand ringside is heating up, with all classes a marvellous trade with the sale levelling at £2089.79. The sale leader today was a top class British Blue x bullock from BT Kitson, Hutton Rudby who sold for an amazing £3050 with a further 8 from this home selling from £2700-£2920. Messrs Thompson, East Unthank, Hexham topped the heifers selling a fabulous pure Limousin to £2500. Some great native cattle were forward these topped at £2580 for Beef shorthorns from Messrs Robinson, Gelt Hall, Brampton.
