Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 11^th February Harrison & Hetherington conducted their sale of weaned bulls and stirks in Borderway with large show of 311 forward which inclued 127 bulls..  A packed ring side of buyers ensuring all classes good to sell.

A great show of 127 bulls was forward with Messrs Nichol, Lawston Farm, selling an 11 month old Limousin x bull for £2240.  Messrs Gill, Moory Lea Farm run of Limousin x bulls topped at £2160.  Messrs Hayward, Fell House Farm topped the Angus bulls at £2160.

Messrs Dent, Beamwham run of cattle topped at £2340 for a 10 month old Limousin heifer.  Messrs Smith, Lake View sold two 13 month old Limousin x heifers for £1980.  Messrs Mitchinson & Sons, Gallowberry Limousin x bullocks topped at £1940.
