At Wooler on Wednesday 30th June Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 1299 Prime Sheep comprising 902 Lambs and 397 Hoggs, Cast Ewes and Rams

Lambs:

As the market steadies all classes a stronger trade throughout to average 258p, weight again in big demand

With more top end vendors arriving back at Wooler and a great atmosphere around the market all parties departed content

The sale was topped with a pen of Beltex realising £142 (47kg) Bothal Barns, Morpeth selling to Thompson Meats, Witton Le Wear
