Borderway Weekly Calf Sale

On Wednesday 30th June Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of 270 young calves.   Trade continues to hold well although the fantastic weather saw a few local buyers missing as busy with hay.  Topping today’s sale at £510 was a cracking Limousin heifer from Messrs Beaty, Stonewalls. Bulls topped at £500 for a young suckler bred calf from Messrs Byerley, Birtley Shields.  Black and whites were dearer on the week selling to £295 from Messrs Dickson, High House.
