On Wednesday 25th Feb 2026 H&H held their weekly sale of 430 store cattle. Numbers continue to be slow coming forward which is really driving demand ringside, which is seeing values driven nicely along, this week was no exception with all classes being dearer with forward types nicely getting over £2400 with grazing and lighter cattle looking extremely well sold throughout with very little below £1800. Topping the sale this week was a Limousin steer from Messrs Moffat, Stone House selling to £2780. Heifers peaked at £2520 from Messrs Waugh, The Flatt, with dairy breeds selling to £2200 from Messrs Gardhouse & Son, Aikton House.
