Kirkby Stephen OTM & Cast Cow Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the sale a £2453.49 and 349.5p/kg was a 702kg Limousin cross cow from B Acton, Maythorn Estate, Leyburn.

Messrs Taylor, Gilts sold a thirteen year old Limousin cross cow to make £2349.30.

The dairy section topped at 290.5p/kg and £1862.11 for a Holstein/Friesian OTM steer from Messrs Beck, Townfoot, Longdale.

Messrs Atkinson, Waitby Farm sold a Friesian cow to top at 288.5p/kg.

The next sale of cast cows at Kirkby Stephen will be on Monday 20^th April.
