On Wednesday 15th April Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves with 434 forward. Recent high rates were maintained with a mixed show on offer. The sale topped at £1440 for a fantastic Limousin bull from McNabney Bros, Barsalloch. Wadsworth Farming showed their usual quality with British Blue bulls to £1130 and £1030. Coopon Carse Farms has a great run of calves topping at £1075 for a British Blue bull with others to £1050 and £1035. Messrs Reed, Mosside to £1010 and £1000 for Blues.

Wadsworth Farming topped the heifers for British Blues at £1140, £1120 and £1100. Limousin heifers topped at £950 from Messrs Robinson, Burtholme. Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower sold British Blues to £890.
