Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 29th April Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves with a bigger show of 331 calves.  Biggest end of calves were slightly easier on the week following on from more resistance with stores but milk calves continued to sell to high rates.

Trade topped at £1410 from Messrs Beattie, Shield Green for a beef bred Limousin heifer.  British Blue topped at £1010 (x2), firstly from Messrs Hill, Arlosh House then secondly from Coopon Carse Farms.  Messrs Hill also had another at £1000.  Bowe Dairy, Chalklodge sold 1 month old Blue bulls to £790.
