Borderway Store and Breeding Sheep Sale

On Monday 18th May Harrison and Hetherington conducted their weekly sale of breeding sheep with lambs and foot.  A strong trade for ewes and lambs was seen in Ring 3 with older sheep forward before next week’s second Show and sale.  Topping today was Messrs Smith-Jackson, Lipwood for two Beltex ewes and lambs.  This fantastic consignment also had units to £170 x4.  Mules sold to £142 for a 5 shear ewe with a strong Texel lambs from Messrs Richardson, Low Row Farm.   Blue Texel crosses topped at £132 for aged ewes from Jack Sim, Chapel House.
