Kirkby Stpehen OTM & Cast Cows Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly Sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the cast cows at £2053.26 (280.5p/kg) was a ten year old Limousin cross cow which weighed 732kg from Messrs Bland, Cotegill, Gaisgill.

This home also sold a seven year old Limousin cross cow weighing 830kg to make 234.5p/kg totalling £1946.35.

Messrs Procter, Hillcrest, Great Musgrave sold a 719kg British Blue cross dairy cow to make 259.5p/kg and £1865.81.

Messrs Bell, Arla Burn Farm, Middleton in Teesdale sold a nine year old Limousin cross cow weighing 766kg to make 247.5p/kg totalling £1895.85.
