On Wednesday 20^th May Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  A great entry of 411 forward sold to extreme rates with milk calves as dear as they have been.  Trade topped at £1100 for a great British Blue heifer from Coopon Carse Farms.  This home also sold British Blue bulls to £960 and £940 with Angus heifers at £880.  Bulls sold to £1010 x2 for Blues from Peile Ltd, Moorthwaite.  BF Farm sold to £960 for Blue bulls.  Messrs Marshall, Brownrigg sold Limousin bulls to £950 (x2).  R & S McKie, Stoneybrook had 2 month old  heifers to £1040.  Skirwith Hall, Penrith sold to £1000 along with Messrs Lyall, North Scales.  Bowe Dairy, Chalk Lodge sold 3 week old Blue bulls to £780 with Messrs Jackson, Guillyhill selling 3 week old INRA95 heifers to £780 and bulls to £760.
