Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 10th June Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves which saw the larger calves take a lift and in more demand and the younger calves very similar.  Both English and Scottish buyers keenly bid for all classes of calves.

Topping the bull section was a Charolais from Messrs Gillespie, High Ploughlands selling to £940.  Coopon Carse Farms sold British Blues to £910.  Aberdeen Angus to £830 for two from Messrs McKie, Wedholme Hill. 

Heifers sold to £890 from Coopon Carse Farm.  Messrs Ivinson, Lea Hill sold a Limousin to £750 and Charolais from Messrs Osborne, Cow Lane to £750.
