Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 17th June Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves with a good show of 338 calves forward with on milk types selling to strongest returns.  Trade topped at £960 for a fantastic Blue from Coopon Carse Farms.  This great run also the top price heifers at £880 x2 and £870.  They also sold Angus heifers to £750.  Messrs Hill, Arlosh House sold British Blue bulls to £920.  Messrs Cathers, Stannock topped at £890.  McNabney Bros topped at £880.  Limousins sold to £870 from Messrs Morris, Greengatehouse.  Four week old British Blues sold to £780 from Messrs Forrester, Down by Rigg.  Simmentals bulls also sold to same price at 4 weeks.
