Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 1^st July Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of 315 calves forward.  Calves were a flyer with all classes up on the week.  Topping the sale today was a superb 6 week old Limousin heifer calf from S & E Wigham, Parkburnfoot, Haltwhistle.  Hereford heifers topped at £890 from GJ & C Vance, Newton Stewart, closely followed by a British Blue from Hardgrove Farms.  Dumfries. In the bull section Messrs Robinson, Kirwaugh Farm topped at £890 from British Blue, £860 for a Hereford from Messrs Vance, Newton Stewart and Aberdeen Angus from Messrs R J Raven, Crookdake, Wigton.
