Borderway Calf Sale

A strong trade was seen throughout today's young Calf Sale at Borderway, buyers competed confidently for well-bred, quality stock. Charolais calves led the way, topping at £990 for bulls and £880 for heifers from McNabney Bros, Barsalloch, while several other breeds sold to impressive levels, reflecting continued demand across all classes. Consignments from Coopon Carse Farms, Irving Farming and McNabney Bros all averaged exceptionally well, highlighting the premium available for well-presented calves meeting buyers' requirements.
