Borderway Store Cattle Sale

A good entry of 304 store cattle was forward with extra buyers to ensure that all classes being sharper on the week.

Messrs Magnay, Greenwrae sold a Beef Shorthorn bullock for £2400.  Mr Colin Hebson, Chapel Farm run of bullocks topped at £2390 for a Limousin cross and £2380 for an Aberdeen Angus.  Messrs Lindsay, Bushelhead Farm sold the top priced Limousin cross bullock selling for £2360. The top priced British Blue bullock sold for £2360 consigned by Messrs Wells & Sons, Hall Garth.   Broathill Farming sold the top priced British Blue x heifer for £2280.
