Store lambs sold to a strong trade considering the lack of grass and resistance in the fat market. Topping the trade at £136 was a pen of Suffolk cross lambs from Messrs Budden, Teviot Bank, this home also had pens to £125. Texels topped at £133 from Messrs Jordan, Low Fauld, this same home also had Texels at £127, Dorsets to £125 and Ryelands to £124. Beltex topped at £131 from Messrs Howard, Lees Hall. Messrs Clarkson, Elrington Hall sold a nice pen of Suffolks to £122. Overall trade averaged £107.
