Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 26^th August Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves which saw a younger show of calves on offer but a good show none the less.  Trade was good and consistence from start to finish.  Topping the sale at £900 for a British Blue Bull from Coopon Carse Farms.  Limousins topped at £870 was PJN & SM Morris, Greengatehouse Farm.  Messrs CJ & VM Gillespie topped the Charolais sold to £870 from Messrs CJ & VM Gillespie, High Ploughlands.

In the heifer section Mr J D Greenop topped at £910 and £840 with British Blues.  Aberdeen Angus sold to a top of £840 from RJ Raven Ltd, Crookdake Hall.
