Borderway Store Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 2^nd September Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of store cattle.  New customers from South-west Scotland flock to Borderway to take advantage of an unrestricted ringside with 615 stores selling to average £1942.  Topping at £2480 was a British Blue bullock from Messrs Routledge, Brackenhill.  Messrs Wilson, Blackrigg sold Limousin bullocks to £2450.  Fisher Farming, Smalmstown sold a cracking pair of Limousin x bullocks to £2430 with another two to £2390.  Heifers sold to £2440 for a fantastic British Blue x heifer to £2440 and £2420.  Limousin heifers sold to £2380 from Messrs Cullen, Crosshill.
