On Thursday 11^th September Harrison & Hetherington held the sale of store lambs once again with 1700 going on to average £110. The sale topped at £162 for a Suffolk from Messrs Jackson, The Wreay & Texels to £162 from both Messrs Raine, Randalholme & Messrs Lee, Linley. Mules topped at £135 for a pen of 35 from Phillip Dawson, The Lodge. Messrs Staley, Broadmea sold 45 Hill cheviots to £114. Beltex lambs topped at £150 for a pen of 10 from Messrs Jackson, The Wreay, this home had 28 to average £144. The first Swales were forward with M/s wood, Moffat cottage selling £73 for a pen of 16.
