Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

A great show of 298 weaners was forward with all classes being sharper on the week.  Messrs Knox, Cragside sold a Limousin bull for £2300.  Messrs Cowx & Son, Hudscales Limousin bulls topped at £2260 (x3).  Messrs Rome & Co, Niven Hill sold a Limousin bull for £2260.  Mr Ian Armstrong, Shankfield bulls topped at £2220 and £2200 for a Limousin x. Messrs Potts, Chapel House sold the top priced British Blue x bull selling for £2200.  Messrs Mandale, & Sons, Lambfield Farm topped the Heifers selling British Blue x for £1910 x2.  Messrs Mews, Glendue Farm sold an 8 month old Limousin x bullock for £1860 and £1840.
