Borderway Beef Breedng Cattle

On Wednesday 30^th September Harrison and Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding sale at Borderway Mart. A good entry of cows and heifers with calves at foot or in calf were forward which included Mr Jim Duff, The Laythes Dispersal.  Messrs Holmes, The Green topped the sale with two Blue x cows and calves which sold for £4300, and £4200.  Mr Jim Duff run of Charolais x cows and calves topped at £3950, £3700 and £3600 with in calf heifers selling for £3050 for a Charolais x.
