On Wednesday 30th September Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves, showcasing that Borderway remains the place to market your calves with an unreal through put of 441. The show of calves would have been lesser in quality but still selling to high averages from start to finish, with a packed ringside of buyers from the first to the very last calf.

A great day’s trading in Ring 5, with top price of the day realising £1,200 for a great red roan heifer from A. T. Bainbridge, Little Musgrave Farm and an outstanding 17 calves selling to over £1,000.
