A nice show present in Lazonby with 1130 being forward an average of £104 being been with 75% of the sale being Mules or Swaledale Lambs. Topping were some Texel lambs from Alan Sowerby, Amos Hill selling to £147. James Raine of Randalholme presented a pen of 43 fancy crossbred Texel lambs, which sold for £143 per head. Suffolks topped at £140 for a trio from Messrs Cain, Alston, Beltex lambs sold to £139 from Messrs Potter, Penrith, Mules seemed best value for money with the best selling to £128 from Messrs Neve, Haining House. Messrs Raine & Davidson, Thorney Gale sold 10 to £125. Still plenty of strong Lambs selling over £115, as Messrs Neve sold 33 to £117. Swales topped at £88 for 28 from Milescott Farms.
