On Wednesday 3rd January Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their first weekly sale of the year for young calves. A quality show of 257 were forward. The New Year brought a larger ring side of buyers keen for all classes of calves which made them an excellent trade. Top price of the day came from Messrs Cannon, Bluehill Farm, for a cracking British Blue bull calf selling for £460.
