On Wednesday 28th March Harrison & Hetherington Limited had a smaller entry of 263 calves forward. The best continental calves continue to be in great demand, topping at £585 twice – firstly for a stylish British Blue bull from Messrs Wilson, Wood Farm, Thursby and secondly for a tremendous Limousin bull from Messrs Allen, Grains Farm, Lockerbie. A plainer show of black and white types continue to be good to sell, with well reared calves in strong demand.
