Borderway Breeding Sheep Sale

At Borderway Mart on Monday 9^th April, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of breeding sheep, again seeing trade and demand slightly easier on the week.

Top quality units were in very high demand with a top of £102 per life for a Texel x ewe with exceptional Beltex x lambs at foot, totalling £306 a unit.

Due to lack of grass, caution was taken around the ring side, with plainer types harder to sell.
