Top price of the day was met twice, firstly from Messrs Spruce, The Barns, Brampton for a pen of 12 Beltex lambs and secondly for a pen of 8 Texel lambs from Messrs Wilson, Scales Farm, Cockermouth. These two tremendous pens of lambs went on to peak the sale at £83 a head.
