Middleton in Teesdale SSBA ‘A’ District Ram Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd conducted the Annual Show & Sale of 307 Aged, Shearling and Ram lambs on behalf of the Swaledale Sheep Breeders Association ‘A’ District.

Topping the Sale at £21,000 was a Shearling ram consigned by Michael Watson, Stoney Hill, Lot number 173, Stoney Hill Jester. This home bred ram was purchased by Patrick Sowerby, Oak Bank, Barras.

The Overall Championship was awarded to another Shearling ram, this time consigned by Messrs JC & J White, Rigg Farm, Lunedale which went on to make £6000 and was purchased by Martin Wilson, Arngill House.
