Hereford Cattle Society Early Spring Show & Sale

The Hereford Society’s early spring show and sale was held at Carlisle on Friday where the top price of 3000gns was achieved by W & R Kemp & Sons’ bull Auckvale Panache. Sired by Auckvale King-Maker and out of Auckvale Pansy this bull won 5^th prize in his class at the pre-sale show and went on to be purchased by Oxton Farm from Wetherby.

HJ Elliot’s Cornriggs 1 Power Point was the only other bull to sell when he went for 2000gns to Messrs Atkinson from Kendal. This bull was sired by Cornriggs 1 Super Guy and out of Romany 1 Julia.
