At St Boswells on Monday 18^th March, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Primestock sale of cattle and sheep where they sold 55 Clean Cattle, 21 Cast Cows, 792 Hoggs and 231 Ewes.

Bullocks (20) averaged  206.52p per kg and sold to 229p  (+2p on the week)

Heifers (35) averaged  214.58p per kg and sold to 245p (+2p on the week)

21 Cast Cows averaged 122p per kg and sold to 159p (-2p on the week) Top price £1387

792 Hoggs averaged 184.63p per kg  (-9p on the week) and sold to £112 , top price  240p per kg for Beltex Hoggs

231 Ewes averaged £65.67 and sold to £131 (2) for Suffolk x/Texel Ewes.   Heavy Ewes averaged £89, light ewes sold to £83 for Cheviot Ewes and averaged £55
