At St Boswells on Monday 15^th July Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Primestock sale of cattle and sheep where they sold 72 Clean Cattle, 46 Cast Cows, 1325 Lambs and 382 Ewes.

Bullocks (26) averaged 195.6p per kg and sold to 229p (-7.4p on the week)

Heifers (46) averaged 200.7p per kg and sold to 231p (-8.3p on the week)

43 Cast Cows averaged 134p per kg and sold to 155p (-5p on the week) Top price £1269

3 Cast Bulls sold to a top of £1460

1325 Lambs averaged 184.4p per kg (-10p on the week) and sold to £104, top price 219p per kg for Beltex Lambs

382 Ewes averaged £74 and sold to £121 for Texel Ewes. Heavy Ewes averaged £88, light ewes sold to £103 for Cheviot Ewes and averaged £54
