At St Boswells on Monday 26^th August Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Primestock sale of cattle and sheep.

Sold 46 Clean Cattle, 26 Cast Cows, 1501 Lambs and 670 Ewes.

Bullocks (20) averaged 208.42p per kg and sold to 235p (+5p on the week)

Heifers (26) averaged 209.61p per kg and sold to 244p (+4p on the week)

26 Cast Cows averaged 127.26p per kg and sold to 159p (-5p on the week) Top price £1190

1501 Lambs averaged 171.5p per kg (-11p on the week) and sold to £108, top price 257p per kg for Beltex Lambs

670 Ewes averaged £52.71 and sold to £100 for Texel Ewes. Heavy Ewes averaged £75, light ewes sold to £77 for Cheviot Ewes and averaged £42
