A tremendous show of Scotch Half Bred Gimmers were presented in the usual form, from the usual Vendors.  Judging was easily handled by Mr M.French, Cathpair who awarded the red rosette to Headshaw, Lauder from Mr Hamish Anderson

A superb show of Scotch Mule Gimmers was presented to a packed ringside of buyers.  The job of judging was expertly conducted by Mr Craig Goldie, Skipmyre, who awarded his first prize pen to Branton Eastside from Mr R.Telford

At the second day of the St Boswells Mart Breeding Sales, Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Ewe Lamb Sale, followed by Feeding Lambs, the sale kindly sponsored by the Farmers Guardian.

Scotch Mule Ewe Lambs – Avge; £126 (+£15)

With an outstanding show of Scotch Mule Ewe Lambs on offer the sale was met by the trade of the season leaving vendors delighted.  A lot more could have been sold to meet the demand!  The show was carefully completed at the hands of Mr. W. Pate, Mossilee who went on to buy his first prize pen at £150 off Burncastle, Lauder.

With regular consignors bringing forward the usual high quality Scotch Half Bred Ewe Lambs at St Boswells, judge Mr P Stott of Elilaw had no problems selecting his pens placing Stobshiel Mains first which realised £148.

Power and style was in abundance in the Suffolk Half Bred Ewe Lamb section, with the task of judging tackled by Mr R. Battersby, Lincs. who purchased his chosen pen at £135 from Messrs. Pate, Marvingston.
