Kirkby Stephen Sale of Cast & OTM Cattle

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly sale of Cast & OTM Cattle on Monday when 27 head were forward.

Topping the sale at £1160.22 (732kg/158.5p/kg) was a Limousin cow from Messrs Shuttleworth, Fell House, Barbon which was bought by D. Barker, Scarborough.

Topping at 166.5p/kg was a Limousin cross OTM Steer from Messrs Wearing, Stephens Farm, Garsdale.

All classes were good to sell from a increased ringside of buyers, with good meated cows being in particularly strong demand.
