On Saturday 7th December Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held the on-farm dispersal sale of implements and machinery on behalf Messrs JS & JO Dodd, West View, Temple Sowerby who have been longstanding loyal customers of Harrison & Hetherington for many years.
A massive crowd of potential purchasers and friends, which was said to be the largest seen locally at a farm sale for some time turned out to support well known couple Steadman & Judy Dodd. With this highlighting the level of respect for them within the farming community.
This resulted in a phenomenal sale throughout with everything achieving prices well above all expectations.
Leading the sale at £18,200 was a 54 reg MF6480.
A highlight of the sale was a 1962 MF35 which had been on the farm and in Messrs Dodds possession since new, it went on to sell for £2500.
