Kirkby Stephen Beef Breeding

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their early spring Beef Breeding sale.

Topping the sale at £2850 was a British Blue cross Limousin heifer with Limousin calf at foot from Messrs Hunter Upper Brydekirk, Annan which was bought by Messrs White, Rigg Farm, Lunesdale;

Incalf heifers topped at £2600 for a Limousin cross from Messrs Bradley, Penny Grange, Settle which was bought by Messrs Forrest, Biggar.

Messrs Bradleys great consignment of 14 incalf heifers sold to average a wonderful £2100.83.
