Kirkby Stephen OTM & Cast Cow Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held the sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the sale at 213.5p/kg and £1904.42 was a 892kg 11year old Pure British Blue cow from Messrs Boocock, St Lois Farm, Stamford Bridge which was bought by Owain Llyr, Ruthin.

Messrs Smithson, Bloan Farm, Brough Sowerby sold a 11year old Limousin cow weighing 826kg making 161.5p/kg £1333.99 selling to Dovecote Park Ltd, Pontefract.

Messrs Boocock also sold a Pure British Blue Bull weighing 1093 making 169.5p/kg £1852.64 and was purchased by Owain Llyr, Ruthin

All classes of cast and OTM cattle were once again a flyer. Many more are required to fulfil buyers demand.
