Kirkby Stephen Store Lambs

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly sale of store lambs at Kirkby Stephen when a good entry of 606 lambs were on offer.

Topping at £92 were Texel cross lambs from Wythop Farms, Oldsale.

Messrs Pedley, Yore House, Sedbergh sold a pen of Beltex cross lambs to make £91.

Mule lambs topped at £70 for a pen of 26 from Messrs Emmott, Wythop Hall Farm, Cockermouth.

Trade for all classes of store lambs set of this seasons sales with a bang with plenty of buyers looking for store lambs and many going away empty handed! Plenty more lambs could have easily being sold, with our next sale being held on the 11^th August.
