Borderway Store Sheep Sale

Borderway’s store sheep sale saw a nice quality forward. Trade from start to finish proved very consistent seeing demand for all lambs regardless of strength or breed.

Top price of the day was for a pen of Beltex from Dan Charnock, Millholme, Roweltown who topped the sale at £91 selling to renowned purchaser Mr Robbie Graham, Harley Croft, Torpenhow, Wigton. The same good farming also sold another pen of 3 Beltex x lambs for £87 a head. Smaller lambs and first cross lambs were noticeably sharper on the week seeing pens of small long keep lambs making high 60’s and early 70’s regularly away.
