Kirkby Stephen Store Sheep Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly sale of store lambs at Kirkby Stephen when 555 were forward.

Topping the sale at £87 were a pen of 11 Beltex cross lambs from Messrs Lawson, Buddle House, Richmond.

A pen of 31 Mule wethers sold to make £77 from Messrs Sowerby, Low Barn, Appleby.

All classes and sizes of store lambs were shorter than recent weeks with plenty of buyers looking for all types of lambs.

Many more can be sold here at Kirkby Stephen on a fortnightly basis.
