On Tuesday 3rd of November Harrison & Hetherington held its Show and sale of 100 store cattle. The Pre sale show took place in the pens and our Judge Mrs Elaine Sedgewick awarded it to JC & J White, Rigg Farm, Barnard Castle for a Limousin steer selling for £1155. The Reserve Champion was also awarded to Messrs White for the second prize steer and was sold for £1230. Topping the sale was a Limousin steer from D Dargue & Son, Bank Top, Barnard Castle selling for £1300. Two vendors had the top price heifer at £1000 firstly from Messrs Tarn, Toft House and secondly from David Dargue, Bank Top both for Limousins.
