Carlisle Beef Breeding Sale

On Friday 6^TH November Harrison & Hetherington held their sale of Beef Breeding cattle.

A small show of cows and heifers with calves at foot was forward on Friday. Messrs. Stevenson & Son, Lower Langshaw Farm sold Limousin cross cows and calves for £2400 and £2100.

Messrs. Robinson & Son Gelt Hall farm run of heifers and calves topped at £2100 for a Limousin cross heifer & beef sired heifer calf.

Messrs. Mitchell & Son, Mirklebooth’s run of Limousin heifers and calves topped at £2080 and £2050.

Messrs. Story, Hilltop’s Limousin cross bulling heifers topped at £1580 (x3).
