Kirkby Stephen OTM & Cast Cow Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held the sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the sale at £2165.80 was a 952kg pure British Blue cow which sold for 227.5p/kg from Messrs Boocock, Stanford Bridge, York and was bought by H Birkbeck on behalf of JA Jewitt, Spennymoor.

Messrs Boocock also topped at 228.5p/kg for another 874kg pure British Blue cow which came to £1997.09 also selling to JA Jewitt.

All classes continue to sell well with demand every bit as strong as previous weeks.
