Borderway Store Sheep Sale

On Monday 23rd November Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store sheep and once again sharper on the week with all shapes and sizes highly in demand.  Top price of the day was for a Beltex x from Messrs Faulder, Ewan Close, Armathwaite selling to £116 with the consignment of 36 Beltex x and Suffolk x lambs averaging at £90.22.  Store mule wethers also sold very well again selling to a top of £80 for a pen of 7 from Messrs Wigham, Hargill House, Haltwhistle.  His next following pen of 12 sold for £77.   The mule section averaged at £71.37.  Many more sheep are required weekly with demand strengthening.
