On Monday 30th November Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store sheep with quality and size selling very well once again. Top price on the day was a pen of seven Beltex cross lambs from Marie Faulder, Ewan Close, Armathwaite selling to £96, they also sold a pen of Charollais x lambs at £95. Commercial bred lambs also sold very well once again with mules selling up to £83 for a pen of strong wethers from Messrs Crosthwaite, Green Close, Penruddock. The whole Mule section in the market averaged £73.22
