Borderway Beef Breeding Sale

On Friday 16th July Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of Beef Breeding cattle.

A great entry of 220 cows and heifer with calves at foot were on offer to a keen ringside of buyers which ensured a flying trade. Messrs Kermode, Oresdale Farm, Isle of Man’s run of Blonde cows topped at £3700, £3000 and £2900. Messrs Myerscough, Sea View, Ulverston’s run of Limousin cows and heifers with Limousdin calves at foot topped at £3300, £3250 and £3100(x2). Bulls topped at £2205 for a Limousin bull from Mr Dunn, Buttermere Close.

Messrs Story, Heather House sold two Charolais bulling heifers for £1430.
