Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 21st July Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale young calves with an increased entry of 251 forward.  An increased in numbers were met with a tremendous trade throughout with strong calves selling to a premium.  

Topping the sale was a Blonde bull from Messrs Imrie, Harelawhole selling to £560.  British Blues topped at £555 from T & G Dobson, Bankwood for a strong pair of bulls.  Dairy bred calves sold to £320 for Montbelairdes from Messrs Ramsey, Gillespie.  Many more are needed to satisfy demand.
